Sussex Ale Works, an established New Brunswick brewery, approached us to refresh—rather than redesign—their logo and branding, preserving the standout qualities of their existing logo. Key elements, such as the founder Rick forging the beer and the overall shape and layout, were essential to maintain. Collaborating with illustrator Jorge Gaivoto, we reimagined the character with fresh vibrancy in a round, balanced logo that feels both inviting and versatile. The new design also adapts seamlessly to various formats, meeting diverse branding needs.
